This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will learn how to grow their own food using these resources. The goal of this project is to show them how to take care of plants so they can be harvested.

Our students are passionate about learning and will be able to appreciate the skills and resources needed to go from seed to a plant that can be harvested.

In our class we have multiple places to grow our own food including garden beds, hydroponic system and aquaponic system. Students throughout the year will use all three systems and be able to compare the pros and cons of each system.
