This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What do I love most about my students? Well, that's a difficult question to answer, as there are a vast number of things to choose from! I'll settle on two things, one of which is their willingness to take on challenges and bend, but not break, and the last is their continuous support of one another.
For our ski/snowboard club, we have requested ski pants and apple juice.
We have also requested camera batteries to ensure we're able to record students doing the awesome things they do.
If you go to the ski slopes it's highly unlikely that you'll see people of color, that look like me or my students, and if you do there won't be many - so let's do something about it and make their experience a memorable one!
