My kindergarten class is in a high-needs community where students have few opportunities.
Who says you can't keep my favorite picture or story from kindergarten forever? Many of my students have complex family situations and few have the opportunity to save the memories from their first year at school.
With a laminating machine, my students can preserve a few of their precious works of art or favorite stories for their children. How many of us have some old tattered picture from our first year of school? Why not preserve the work properly for my students to pass on with pride to their children...or at least to show to their siblings with pride? School work should be something they are proud of, especially in kindergarten. It sets up a life-long positive relationship with education!
Help my new students be proud of their masterpieces. Help them preserve them so they can show off their accomplishments for years to come! Thank you.
