Help me give my students the opportunity to improve their fine motor skills by creating and displaying their creative math and artwork in our preschool classroom.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 24 preschool students who attend a low-income school in South Los Angeles. My students come to class ready to learn, regardless of any obstacles they face inside and outside of the classroom.
My preschool students inspire me everyday and I am invigorated with the promise and excitement they show day in and day out.
These preschoolers are inspirational and are always eager to absorb knowledge. My 24 four year old students are willing to accept and achieve any goals set in front of them.
My Project
My students will be able to create their own art projects and patterns using the new art supplies. My students love to use different types of art materials such as pom poms, peel and stick stickers, craft sticks, foam shapes, buttons, beads and colorful paper during centers. These art supplies will help develop my students’ fine motor skills while at the same time providing fun! The easy grip tweezers will allow us to engage in exciting learning activities that will continue to develop their fine motor development. The classroom clothesline will allow me to display all my students’ unique work.
