This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The material and supplies I am requesting for my students will help them to make connections with the content we learn in 7th grade. Most of my students are emerging bilingual learners, meaning they are continuing to develop their home language while learning an additional language. I create the visuals that help them get a better understanding of the content, but the 3D models will offer them a greater depth of perspective of these real-world items to make stronger connections to the curriculum. The markers will be used to help create interactive notebooks that the students can use to label and study their work. The organizational material will help keep or learning space neat and tidy, eliminating clutter.
