Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
At this school, we consider each other a family. We see many of the family members of the students early in the morning during the car-loop drop off and during parent pick-up. Many of the students play in after-curricular activities together for years so they develop a friendship that almost seems like a family. They care, support and encourage each other every day to try their best and celebrate their accomplishments.
Determined, energetic, and fearless; my students are ready for whatever curveball is thrown their way.
Even though they are young they are devoted to learning the ins and outs of everything around them, as the generation of tomorrow, they need to be prepared to be exposed to a world of technologic tools and learn educational skill that they will use to contribute to the world.
My Project
These materials will help my students learn in a virtual classroom setting while keeping the safety of everyone in mind.
The document camera will allow me to show my students resources and materials in real time.
My students will be able to see tangible materials that we would normally use in a face to face classroom environment and it will help them with the transition to face to face instruction by exposing them to materials that they will become familiar with. As kindergartners and first graders coming into schools these materials are essential to helping them transition into productive students.
