Securing Supplies for SY 25-26!

Help me give my students all of the resources they'll need for the 2025-2026 school year and store these products in a secure filing cabinet accessible in the classroom.

My Project

As a traveling teacher for AP, honors, and regular-level sophomore U.S. History classes, I rely on a rolling cart to move my supplies between classrooms. However, throughout the year, I've realized the need for a secure, consistent "home base" for essential materials—one that keeps things organized and accessible for both me and my students.

This project will fund a locking filing cabinet with shelves, allowing me to safely store resources and avoid overloading my cart with dozens of items.

Instead of carrying 500 pencils at once, I’ll be able to keep a reliable supply ready for students in one central location.

I'm also requesting classroom staples like a laminator and paper slicer, which will help me reuse materials for interactive lessons and historical simulations—saving paper and building durable resources for future classes.

Other supplies like a charging station, highlighters, and basic organization tools (paper clips, binder clips, staples) will minimize distractions and maximize learning. With a phone charging station at the front of the room, students can stay focused instead of tethering their phones to their Chromebooks. With a class set of highlighters, we’ll be able to closely analyze historical texts together, supporting stronger reading and thinking skills.

These tools will make a real difference in how I support my students each day. Thank you for considering a contribution to our classroom!
