Second Year Girls Soccer Team

My students need matching bags to not only carry equipment but also to show team spirit and unity for our second year girls varsity soccer team.

My Students

A typical practice begins with dynamic warm up and conditioning followed by ball skills, agility training, drills and scrimmages, which occur during the many different moods of mother nature in Michigan. Our athletes need to be prepared for rain, sleet, snow, wind, or sun.

We live in a high poverty area where a large portion of our student body k-12 is on free or reduced lunch.

By the time students reach high school, many of them have jobs or are caring for younger siblings. Some students have limited opportunities for participation in extra curricular activities due to responsibilities or finances, so the time on the field together as a team is important for them not only athletically but emotionally.

My Project

These bags will be used to keep cleats, balls, shin-guards, uniforms, and practice clothes readily available for athletes during our ever-changing spring weather. These bags will show our team spirit and unity while providing a space for equipment to be organized and stored to prevent loss or damage as well as the confusion that can occur when so many girls have equipment on the field.

With a program in its infancy, our resources and experience have room to grow.

Providing as much unity and pride for our team as we can will not only assist us in performing better, but it will also help draw new athletes to the program and community members to our support.
