This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have spent the first semester of school playing, exploring, and learning. I want to continue this into the second semester with new materials. These materials will allow us to do fun art projects, store our toys, and make learning more accessible.
To help ensure that learning is fun and hands on I am requesting new materials to enhance our lessons and activities.
These materials will supplement or replace what we have used so far this year. We are running low on essential materials like markers, paint, folders, and glue. The largest item on this list is an easel on wheels. This will help me differentiate student learning greatly. I can use the easel to help support learners who need more visual one on one support when completing their work. I can roll the easel up to wherever the students are working and sit with them and easily demonstrate what needs to be completed. With this project learning in my classroom will be even more exciting, experiential, and entertaining.
