Help me give my students more personal attention to their learning needs by providing me with an additional monitor to do so.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Kenny's classroom raised $156

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students live in a low-income/high poverty, urban school district. They are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom, including emotional trauma, a high mobility rate, and many other special needs. Many of them are being raised in single-parent households and 99% receive a free lunch and breakfast. My students are 70% Hispanic and 30% African-American. The majority of my students are far below the national and state standards in reading and math.
Our school is very limited when it comes to distributing resources.
We would like to do more to provide our children with the supplies they need, but our school budget crisis makes this difficult.
My Project
I will use this monitor to more effectively engage with my students in our virtual learning model. I will be able to give students more attention by having them all in view as I am teaching or they are sharing with the class or working on a project.
Students will benefit from having more engagement with their teacher, I will be able to more readily see if a student has a question or is having difficulty with the task at hand.
Since I can't be right by their side, this will be the closest we can come to that.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
