Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 119 students and I have not met them in person yet. My school is going Hybrid in April and I am so excited to finally meet them. Some students I haven't even seen because they keep their monitors off.

While I will have 30 students in my class room the remaining students will continue distance learning with me.

To make this work, I would like to have a 2nd monitor to help me with all of the simultaneous applications that I will have open. The class and I will be able to see students on a 2nd screen while I share my laptop screen with the class and students at home.

My Project

With a 2nd screen Classroom students (CR) will be able to see students who are Distance Learning (DL) and vice versa, DL students will be able to see CR students.

The 2nd screen will help give the DL students a better sense of being a part of the class when they can view their classmates.

This will also help keep the students engaged in learning by limiting downtime when flipping through apps using only 1 screen.

The Distance Learning students will be projected on the Whiteboard screen while the lesson and other apps will be on the 2nd screen.
