This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how resilient and curious my students are. I work in a high need area with students who don't all come from the easiest backgrounds and my goal is to make the classroom a place where they can be at peace with themselves. These items will help me to provide strategies and knowledge for students that need it when having a tough time in the classroom.

What makes them even more special is despite whatever challenges they may have they genuinely want to show up every single day.

This is why I want to provide a space where they can still feel excited yet comforted while learning.
