Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a new second grade classroom teacher, I need Literacy and Math materials to conduct whole group lessons as well as manipulatives for students to use during Literacy and Math centers. With your donations, I will be able to give my current and future students the opportunity to engage in hands on learning in both Literacy and Math. For example, the LED boards, I will use for whole group learning. Each student will sit on the rug and have an individual LED board to practice different Literacy and Math skills as a group. Another example for independent reading would be the playdough and letter stamps, students will use these to practice high frequency words or their spelling words.
