My Students
I am an AIS teacher located in New York City. I teach eager kindergarten, first, second, and third-grade children who are struggling readers and writers. My students are devoted to learning but need a different approach toward their education. They need small group instruction that uses many types of manipulatives.
When my children are successful, the look of wonder in their eyes is a sight to behold.
It is truly what makes being a teacher the best job in the world.
My Project
My students are eager to take control of their educational growth, but we need help. The answer seems so obvious. There needs to be a system of organization in place. This is why the binders and dividers are ideal. I travel around the room constantly and never seem to have a place to store student work. The room is small and overcrowded, and storage is an issue. However, a one-inch binder can be placed in their desks and will not be in the way. Plus, they can see the work inside and I can write notes on the outside for my students.
Imagine a seven-year-old who is analyzing their own strengths and taking control of their learning path.
It is truly a teachers dream come true.
What a wonder it would prove to be organized.
No longer will I have to search for a student's work; more importantly, the student will no longer search either. Everything will be at our fingertips. Thank you for your consideration.
