This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am preparing for my students next year and want to get off to a great start! I am asking for zipper pouches for their independent reading books. These re-usable pouches will last so much longer than the Ziplock bags we usually use.
I am also asking for the book "second grade here I come".
I want to give this to my class on the first day of school. The first day sets the tone for the rest of the school year and what better way to start then with a book.
I am also asking for pre-sharpened pencils. I want to make sure that each student has a pencil each and every day!
