Second Grade Writers!

Help me give my students composition notebooks, masking tape and pens to create and personalize their writing for writers workshop!

My Project

I'm excited to be starting a new Writer's Workshop format next year! These materials will help my writers get off to a great start in August. The composition notebooks will be turned into treasure boxes of writing! At the beginning of the year my writers will decorate their covers with stickers showing things they love to inspire their writing. Then, we'll start opening the pages and writing with the felt-tip pens. Using these pens will encourage writers to not stop and fix mistakes, but instead to keep the ideas flowing and make changes later!
