My Students
Team 317 are gifted and talented students who are bound to make great strides in second grade! Located in Chelsea, Manhattan, my team of students are always ready to face challenges and are learning how to use the appropriate tools for becoming responsible citizens of not only the community, but the world.
The goal for second grade is to shape strong autonomous leaders so that one day they can become the future that we all desire.
My students possess grit, compassion, and true passions for learning. All the components of a student a teacher can ask for!
My Project
From researching various water forms in New York State to the diet of a mourning dove, my students will participate in a wide range of learning using these Chromebook's. Having access to technology is a MONUMENTAL tool in my students' learning. My students use technology to feed their minds with juicy information. My students are constantly using technology to explore the world outside of our classroom walls.
As their teacher, my job is to teach my students skills and tools that can be used for a lifetime.
In a digital world, it is crucial for students to learn how to navigate and produce work using technology. My students use technology to grow as autonomous learners by publishing documents of their own writing, and presenting their new knowledge through visuals using slide presentations.
