This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a charter school on the southwest side of Chicago and I am so excited to head into my 3rd year of teaching. My students and their families are wonderful and I am hoping to get a variety of resources for my classroom to start the school year strong. At my school, there are no supplies provided for teachers beyond student school supply lists. Therefore, I like to have extra resources on hand to provide for my students throughout the school year.

This project includes a variety of basic classroom materials including pencils, scissors and markers, as well as awesome additional supplies like STEM activities for morning choice bins.

I am so excited to work with my new class of 2nd graders and to help them learn and grow academically and socially. I would greatly appreciate your support for my classroom.
