Second Grade Rocks!

Help me give my students wobble cushions to allow them to move in class, even when they are sitting in their chairs. These will allow them to be active and safe!

My Students

As a teacher in a small, rural community, I want to provide my students with the best education in the most diverse ways. While they come from a variety of backgrounds, many of them still need exposure to ideas and places they may never have the opportunity to experience otherwise.

My students are eager to learn and they love to be active in the classroom!

As soon as they enter the room, I want them to feel safe and excited to grow as scholars. As they leave the classroom, I want them to have a love of learning that will help them grow into strong and educated members of the community.

My Project

These seats will make a huge difference in the lives of my students because they will allow them to safely rock and move in their seats! Second graders are active learners, and they need more safe movement incorporated throughout the day. Sometimes we have to use our seats to complete assignments, and these seats will give them the freedom to move without leaning back in their chairs. These cushions will be much safer for my students.

Flexible seating will allow my students to focus and feel comfortable at the same time!

We will be able to use these cushions on the rug for whole group time and in our chairs at the tables. They will love having the ability to move as they learn!
