This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is dedicated to teaching everyone project-based learning techniques. We are a progressive, public charter school devoted to teaching every child the skills and concepts they need to be successful in our ever-changing world.

We serve a large Mexican American population as well as a diverse group of families in the North County San Diego area.

Our students love to build and have a natural curiosity about the world around them. With a project-based learning approach, we attempt to build an engaging classroom, rich with materials and access to real tools and resources.

My Project

Throughout the year, we use our materials and need a final replenishing of supplies to finish the year. We are literally running out of pencils and paper. All the help that we can get to purchase more is most appreciated.

We have also been so grateful to our donors and ask for a few more supplies to finish the year strong.

Pencils, scissors, markers and various teaching materials like white board markers will help us learn at max level.

Right now, we are in the midst of a gardening project. These supplies will help us research and write about our learning so that we can showcase our project at our exhibition in June. Thank you.
