My Students

My students are my hard-working, kind, and in love with books! They have been at our school for three years. They are currently second graders but one day they will become the Class of 2031 when they graduate from high school! Our classroom is located in West Philadelphia in a founding elementary school.

Our school is founded on the values of bravery, love, grit, curiosity, and gratitude!

Please help our students have access to the things they need to grow their brains. Our students love to learn and try their best.

My Project

Our students truly enjoy reading time, but unfortunately they have a limited library to choose from in our classroom. We only have one bookshelf filled currently. Our school does not have a room dedicated as a library, so we need your help to provide students new books that they deserve in our class!

My students are on a variety of reading levels and are curious about reading!

They are engaged, participate, and try their hardest in reading groups. Some of my students even love the challenge of a difficult text, so I would love to be able to give them exposure to a variety of diverse books and titles. My hope is for my students to become lifelong readers.
