This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard working and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and home lives. It sometimes affects them socially and emotionally. They mostly come from financially challenging homes.

Some come to school hungry and rely on school meals for nourishment.

Many of my students need to feel I am there for them which is something I strive to provide for them.

My Project

My students need me to be in two places at once. I am requesting a laptop which will give me the ability to help them in one place and make sure they arrive in another place on zoom.

I need the second laptop to help my students move from our class zoom meeting to our school assemblies on zoom and back to our class zoom meeting.

It was quite an adventure with only one device. I missed the whole assembly trying to help my students go to the zoom link and a few didn't even make it.
