Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 5th Grade students love working together in the classroom! Unfortunately we only have enough chairs for each student's desk. By donating these stools, my students will be able to have flexible seating at two of the back tables in our classroom. By working together, students will be able to practice social emotional life-skills for communicating, collaborating, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills. The flexible seating will also help create a welcoming learning environment where students can enjoy working together on school projects along with learning important life-skills along the way.
