My Students
As a Special Education teacher working in New York City my goal is to create a welcoming environment so all students can learn. This year, I have the most exciting, and motivated group of students who are eager to immerse themselves in learning. Their individual learning styles, and unique personalities help to bring our classroom to life every day.
My Project
Movement throughout the school day is so important to learning. My fourth grade students have special learning needs and the ability to move as they work is especially important.
Having wobble stools in my classroom will allow my students to wiggle and wobble all while they work throughout the school day.
This type of flexible seating will allow my students to improve their posture and balance and get their wiggles out. Students are then able to better concentrate and focus during the class day. Movement is so important to learning.
