Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am excited to announce I will be teaching 2nd grade in September! With all this excitement, unfortunately, come added expenses. Many of our students come from low-income or temporary housing situations. Help me give my students a learning environment they so deserve!
The room I am entering needs some additional seating to make learning more inviting, fun, and comfortable!
The rug will provide seating for my students while I host our morning meetings and read stories. The stools are essential for conducting small groups at a kidney table. The chairs that are currently there are too short. The bean bag will be placed in our calming corner to provide a safe place so students can relax and get their minds ready.
Having these items will get my new second graders excited for learning and help them stay focused and comfortable.
