Seating for All Types of Learners

Help me give my students flexible seating arrangements. This will help my students who have trouble with sitting and learning in a traditional seating environment.

My Students

Although, most of my students face significant challenges in their personal life (which can included housing, financial pressures or at home trauma) my students, love to come to school and are eager to learn.

In order to help students in my class learn we need to include a variety of learning strategies to personalize and focus on each student's individual needs.

Some strategies may include group work, and alternative seating. My students when given the right opportunities really show their potential!

My Project

Not all of my students do well in a traditional classroom seating arrangement. To better differentiate student learning styles I will use various seating arrangements.

Balance balls and desk risers will accommodate students who do better in an environment that allows them some movement.

The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. Some of the options will allow students to sit at desk/higher tables but will still allow some movement. These will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out.
