Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our 8th grade students are bright and inquisitive learners. They are excited to come to school every day and they put their whole hearts into every learning opportunity they take on. Our students love interactive projects and activities that engage all of their learning styles. Our school is a Title 1 school that receives funding from different sources within the state and federal government. The funds sometimes don't cover all of the classroom needs to ensure that our students are successful.
Despite having the odds stacked against us sometimes, our students love to learn.
In order to continue their love of learning, I would like to provide my students with flexible seating options in my classroom.
My Project
The materials requested will help my students find their perfect seating option to unlock their learning potential. Many know that there are different learning styles that should be addressed in lessons by teachers and these learning styles are enhanced and make more of an impact when a student is comfortable in class.
Comfort is essential to learning.
By funding my project, my students will be comfortable and able to focus on their learning better. My students are 8th grade and at an age where a positive classroom experience will impact their status as lifelong learners. Please help my students reach their potential.
