This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's important for a student to enjoy learning. However, sometimes this enjoyment is stifled by the discomfort of sitting in a hard chair all day. Students come in varying shapes and sizes, so it makes sense that our seating should as well.
With these flexible seating arrangements my students will be able to change seats while reading, working with a partner, or working independently.
During independent reading, students will get a turn to sit on the big bean bag chairs. The floor chairs will be used as an option when students need to spread out to work in groups or independently.
Please help me give my students flexible seating to make learning comfortable and more enjoyable!
More than half of students from low‑income households
