This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach 24 wonderful fourth graders who are curious and love to learn. As part of our curriculum, my students participate in many project based activities. As such, my room is equiped with all round tables, which is wonderful for collaboration and cooperative group work. However, there is one problem with this arrangement: They have no place to store their materials.

Seat sacks to the rescue!

This project will provide my students with seat sacks that will hang on the backs of their chairs. This will become the place where they can store Science, Math and Literature interactive journals, writing materials and manipulatives they may need when working on projects. These seat sacks are a must for our classroom! Thank you for your help!
