Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

First of all we would like to say thank you for looking at our project. My students are active five year olds ready to get their hands on learning. They are eager to learn but lack the necessary supplies. School starts in September and parents struggle to purchase supplies or even uniforms. 

My students are hungry for knowledge.

This being most of their first experience in school. They yearn for fast paced, hands on learning experience. Hands-on is the way to go! My students will meet and surpass the common core state standards, and will step up to 1st grade.

My students consist of both low income, general and special education, kindergartners. They are like little sponges that are ready to absorb what you expose them to.

My Project

My students don't have anywhere to store their items in our classroom. They sit at tables and don't have a good place to keep books, papers, or their folders. These seat sacks will help them learn to be organized learners! It is important to keep all of their materials in a place that's easily accessible throughout the day.

Being organized cuts down on time spent searching for materials and allows for more time learning.

This is just another way to make our classroom open, inviting, and engaging for my students. Thank you for considering donating towards this project. Your support is so important to us!
