This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The school year is set to start again! This year I would love for students to have seat sacks to put materials right behind their chairs. This will help me maximize instruction time. I used to keep all materials on my desk and have students pass around books for each subject and hand them back to me. I believe our students are responsible enough to keep their materials right behind them. This will teach them valuable organizational skills.

I am also requesting some classroom decor.

Last year we had books donated to our library and chairs. Some library decor and signs will help make our classroom more inviting and calming. This year I have 4 students that are English Language Learners. I am excited to have a space where they can practice organization and learn English with words labeled around the room for them.
