Help me give my students new chair pockets to maximize organization in Kindergarten.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Picazo's classroom raised $195
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We currently use chair pockets in kindergarten. This is where students keep their work folders and personal learning materials such as pencil boxes, their headphones, and a place to put their sweaters so they do not lose them. Seat sacks have become a staple in our classroom!
Having this system teaches our youngest learners organization, as well as lessens lost instructional time.
The chair pockets we have in our classroom right now have started to tear, as they are a few years old. New seat sacks would help refresh our learning space, while maintaining a system that works for us!
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
