My students are full of life! They come in each morning eager to learn and work with their classmates. My students are constantly asking questions and wondering about the world around them. They are driven by new challenges that they face in the 21st century.
My students are creative, intelligent, and motivated individuals.
Each child is an unique individual and learns in different ways. In our classroom, we work hard to build a classroom community where we work together to solve problems and respect each other thoughts and opinions.
It is my goal as a third grade teacher to keep my students safe, love them, and teach them as much as I can. I truly want to foster each child's love for learning and help every student feel successful.
My Project
Flexible seating in my classroom will allow students to choose a space to enhance their learning and collaborate with their peers in a comfortable working environment. Students will be able to choose a seat in the room based off their own personal needs.

Each student is an unique individual and has different learning styles, which is why flexible seating will support all the diverse learners in our classroom. Weather it be bouncing on a ball, laying on a yoga mat, or wobbling on a chair, students will be more engaged and take ownership of their own learning.
By having a larger variety of seating options in our classroom, every child will be successful because it reaches each child's individualized needs. Students will be able to move around the room to collaborate with peers, have a choice in their own learning, and increase their engagement and motivation in school.
