I have to admit that I was a little surprised when I recently received numerous requests for Magic School Bus books in the library. Sure, many of us adults have nostalgic memories of fun with Ms. Frizzle, but I was not aware that young readers still enjoyed the books. Once I uncovered two titles in the stacks, I was even further surprised to realize that the students knew the form and content of those books impressively well.
So clearly there is no choice for a children's librarian in this scenario - we are going to need a much bigger selection of Magic School Bus books!
