This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a range of diverse backgrounds that makes them very unique. They come from single or parents working 2 - 3 jobs at a time, that makes my students mature from their young lives. My kids teach me life lessons that will be forever ingrained in my mind.

My Project

By receiving this generous donation of books, my library would grow in more ways than you could imagine. These books will have the ability to give more representation to my kids because of their background. They will give the students an opportunity to read books on their level or for the pure enjoyment of what others have written about.

The following books are books that I read when I was in elementary school and ones I have discovered from other teachers on social media.

They will have a profound affect on my kids in giving them something to get more knowledge on because knowledge is power.
