This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In first grade, we dive into the wonders of weather and seasons— not just through observation and discussion, but through the power of storytelling! I'm building a collection of seasonal books to support our science standards and bring these concepts to life in engaging, age-appropriate ways. These books will help my students explore questions like: Why do leaves change color? What causes snow and rain? How do animals adapt to each season? What do people around the world do to celebrate seasonal changes?

Every book helps spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and build a lifelong love of science!
