My Students

I have the privilege of working at a local high school servicing students with disabilities. Our school is small, around 400 students, but they are always eager to learn which if one of the many reasons I love my job.

My students with disabilities generally struggle with reading and writing grade-level material, so I created this project in hopes of finding more resources that will engage them in the learning process.

They need material that can be differentiated and individualized to meet their various needs.

Finding engaging, interactive, and reading level appropriate resources is very challenging, but by using Teachers pay Teachers, my resources can be updated and engaging.

TpT is GREAT for many reasons, but especially because I know that material I am buying is already connected to the state standards and it has been used in other classrooms around the world. This would help me obtain new resources that will help my students learn grade-level content and improve their reading and writing abilities.

Any help funding this endeavor would be greatly appreciated!

My Project

Having been a teacher for 14 years, I am in search of new and up-to-date materials that will engage my students. My students learn best through a variety of formats, so I am searching for materials that are differentiated and engaging.

I hope to add to my library resources that will help my students with their reading and writing skills, offer real-life experiences through life skills content, and engage them with grade-level modified math materials.

These resources will make a difference in my students' learning in so many ways. They will provide me with the opportunity to find materials that cover a variety of content areas and assess a multitude of skills.
