My Project
My high school students are served at a separate school for students with moderate-severe special needs. Students are consistently building communication, independence, and work job skills while at school. Students have been operating a coffee cart for school staff on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
We are excited to bring Seagull Coffee to our spring community event!
Students will sell iced coffee, lemonade, and water at our school fundraising event.
Students will practice communicating, following schedules/directions, and employability goals. Seagull Coffee gives my class opportunities to purposefully use what they have been learning in meaningful ways.
