My Project
The clay and tools that we acquire will be used for teaching students how to properly sculpt human faces with realistic proportions. This is a project that I typically teach in other non-clay materials. With this donation of clay, my students can use clay all school year without problem.
The second project that I will teach my students is how to sculpt and craft a clay ocarina.
An ocarina is a clay musical wind instrument. It's similar to a flute, but with a rounded chamber body. Last school year, I learned how to make these and I would love to share this knowledge with my students.
