I need a Kindle Scribe and accessories to allow me to take notes anywhere during professional development workshops and meetings, read curriculum related books and articles, and keep everything all in one place.

My Project

Part of being a teacher is continuing your learning and adapting as things change. Every year I attend professional developments in my district, at the state level with conferences, and even nationally and internationally during the summer. This summer's chosen PD is studying sharks and their environments at the Bimini Biological Station in the Bahamas, and I fully plan to use the Kindle Scribe for the prerequisite reading, note taking, and lesson planning.

As much as I love my notebooks, flair pens, and backpack full of books and journals I am planning on streamlining my tools to a Kindle Scribe to help keep everything I need in one place for my own learning and growing.

With a Kindle Scribe I can take my PD anywhere and everywhere and keep it all together. I can download books, study guides, and journal articles as well as keep my notes together instead of multiple notebooks.
