This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class consists of 25 students who are eager to learn, all of which receive free or reduced-price lunch due to financial limitations. Most, if not all, are from low income households. My students have become driven in the area of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). They all have a desire to embrace new challenges that are placed before them and I aim to deliver.

My students, as a result of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, were forced to learn using the basics at home, they are eager to become more hands-on in their academics

My goals are to expose my students to all academic opportunities, whether remotely or hybrid, to the best of my abilities. I hope to build morale by providing various projects where they can touch, see and experience different tasks. Edison robots have been a valuable tool in the area of STEM. We have used LEGO bricks, the Scratch APP, and now we would like to take it to the next level in the area of math and art by requesting the attachment tool for the Edison robots.
