My Students
My students are excited. That's the best way to describe the little minds that walk into my room every day. They are excited to read, excited to explore, excited to share, and most of all excited to learn.
Excitement is what drives the mind to want to learn.
I feel it's my responsibility to foster excitement in my learners. With a strong desire to explore and learn, my students are never left feeling bored. They are engaged and enthusiastic about our classroom, and their energy is contagious to all who enter our room.
My Project
I'm really excited about the opportunity to bring coding into the classroom. I'm excited to engage my students with the Dash and Dot. They will love to see the real life application of coding and how it shapes our world around us. The Dash and Dot is an actual robot that will allow the students to code it to move around the room. This is such an exciting way to get our young learners interested in exploring computer sciences. The Exobot is another coding robot that will give more opportunity for my students to see how they can use coding to make the robot do what they want it to do.
