it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am happy to be teaching Pre-K through 2nd Grade! My students are a diverse group with varying skill levels. We are very lucky to have a basketball team, coed soccer team, and girls soccer team at our school that competes against other schools in our district.
Students are most excited when they are able to experience new challenges and see themselves grow!
Most of them have never been exposed to structured play or organized games. All students deserve to be exposed to a full, rich curriculum that develops them into lifelong movers. Appreciating physical activity is important to a healthy lifestyle.
My Project
My student athletes need a clear way to know the score of the game and see how much time is left on the clock. We currently don't have a system for the students to know the details of a game and distracts them during the match. We have tried whiteboards or other methods but they are not clear enough when playing a game.
Knowing the score can be the difference between a win or a loss!
The students on the basketball, coed soccer, and girls soccer team will be able to concentrate on the game at hand with a new scoreboard. Plus not only does this scoreboard show the score, it also plays music and will allow me to announce the team rosters to the crowd. Please help me make my students feel like professionals and incorporate this technology into the games.
