Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are well mannered and kind children. They are reading below grade level and lack confidence with writing. All students at my school qualify for free lunch. Many of my students are English language learners and some do have a learning disability.
My students are eager to learn but lack confidence because for most of them English is their second language.
Our students are fans reading and participating in the Accelerated Reader program. They enjoy doing research to expanded their knowledge but do apply the writing process with some insecurities. Writing is a bit difficult for most of them.
