My Project
I have always wanted to be able to provide Scholastic Scope magazines in my English language arts classes.
These magazines give kids a meaningful way to engage with a variety of fiction and nonfiction high-interest texts.
This high quality digital and print subscription provides high-interest fiction and nonfiction texts and a variety of lessons, activities, and assessments. These magazines are a great way to include informational texts to students. While informational and nonfiction texts can tend to met with resistance among students, these magazines are fun and diverse, and therefore much sought after in class. I am beyond excited to be able to show my smart, thoughtful students that different genres of writing can be engaging, and support their learning in new and creative ways.
