I am starting my 3rd year at a very rural school in Arkansas. Our students come from a very high need community and most of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch.
As a science teacher it is so important to use a wide variety of methods and tools to keep the students actively interested. I have very limited resources, no lab, and hand-me-down equipment. None of my microscopes work, and students are missing out on so many investigations.
Having these digital microscopes will allow students to investigate and experiment like "real scientists". It is truly amazing to watch students make discoveries on their own.
By supplying these tools, you are opening many doors for the students to explore. Help me ignite a spark in a child that could lead them to a career in science.
