My Project
My students come from lower socio-economic families. There are very diverse backgrounds, but they have a strong sense of community. I love that my students make the most of what they have and always show gratitude for experiences/things that they are given. The goal for this project is to help my kindergarten and first grade students improve balance, coordination, and gross motor skills. By enhancing these skills, focus and cognitive function can improve which may benefit classroom performance.
Using scooters would be a fun and engaging way for my students to learn and grow.
Please consider making a donation to assist the students at Hancock Place Elementary School scoot to better health.
