Scooters Needed to Improve Core Strength and Balance in APE

Help me give my students the opportunity to continue working on core strength and balance by using Pull-Buoy In-Line Wheel Turbo Scooters.

My Students

My students, who all have significant cognitive delays, love coming to PE to move around with me. One activity that most students enjoy, that also helps them work on fitness skills like core strength, leg strength and balance, is scooter boards.

My Project

Developing core, arm and leg strength and balance through fun and engaging activities in APE using the Pull-Buoy In-Line Wheel Turbo Scooters. Through game and play my students will develop fitness skills without even realizing how it benefits them. Many students have lost opportunities to participate in physical activity programs during COVID. My APE program helps my students stay physically active and socially engage with their peers. The scooters will be a great addition to the program as it is a preferred activity for many students, and a great way to work on fitness through play.
