it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
By introducing students to the science of ice cream making, they can explore various concepts, from the chemistry of freezing methods to the art of flavor combinations. This hands-on experience not only makes learning fun but also promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills. As students witness the transformation of simple ingredients into a delicious treat, they will gain a deeper appreciation for the culinary arts and the science behind food production.
Moreover, an ice cream maker can serve as a motivational tool for senior students working on fundraising goals.
By integrating the ice cream making project with their fundraising efforts, seniors can host events such as ice cream socials or tasting parties, which encourage community involvement and support. This real-world application of their fundraising initiatives helps students develop essential skills in teamwork, marketing, and financial management. Such events can bring in not just funds but also foster a sense of community and school spirit, elevating their overall experience and commitment to their goals.
Finally, the resources obtained through this project will empower students to take ownership of their fundraising journeys, creating a sense of pride in their accomplishments.
