My Project
My students love participating in Book Clubs. Book Clubs contests of students selecting, reading, and discussing a book in small groups. I try to offer as diverse a selection of books as possible. I want to engage my students in great books that will add to their reading lives. The "Love and Gelato" trilogy has been a very popular title and I would love to expand the readership of this great book.
Book clubs provide students with the chance to become a community of readers.
It gives them the opportunity to discuss their thinking and reactions to what they have read. In addition, choosing a book that is a part of a series can help students select what they read after Book Clubs.
